Chinese Teacher Recruitment Service
The Confucius Institute at Michigan State University offers a special service program that connects potential teachers of Chinese as a foreign language with school districts nationwide that are interested in setting up Chinese programs and/or recruiting teachers for their Chinese programs. The services include:
- Recruit and train teachers of Chinese and place teachers on different Chinese programs in K-12 school districts.
- Consult for school districts to set up customized Chinese programs and recruit teachers for the school districts.
- Provide on-going professional development and supervising supports for the Chinese teachers at school districts.
